Intermediate Obedience

 This 6 week group program is for students who have previously completed a training class or private lesson program. Current private lesson students may be able to join if their dog's training is at the required minimum level. This class will be held at the farm - 2677 Audley Rd, Ajax, ON

 

$225 - 6 weekly 45 minute classes

Starting Wednesday, June 28th @ 8:15pm

Consider it “Middle School” for you and your dog. Intermediate Obedience is the perfect class for those students looking to revamp and improve upon their previous training.

In this 6-week course we will focus on improving hand signals, boost responsiveness to cues, create a more reliable stay, come, leave it and place.

We will troubleshoot common behavior issues so we can address any specific concerns related to you and your dog.

 

You will:

• Advance your dog's obedience and impulse control skills
• Train your dog using fun games and activities

• Socialize your dog in the manner appropriate to them. This may include working on calming techniques and/or having a play session at the end off class.

 

Below are the requirements for joining this class. If you feel you are close to these requirements but just need a little help to reach them, you can note this in the intake form to be contacted with advice. * Beginner Level means your dog knows the cue and will respond with low distraction, but may not respond with higher distraction.

 

Required obedience:

• Down for 10 seconds
• Stay for 10 seconds
• Stay with a distance of 10 feet
• Leave It (beginner level or higher)
• Come (beginner level or higher)
